Site Terms

Last updated: 1 June 2026

1. About These Terms

These Site Terms (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the MeetCanada website at meetcanada.live (the “Site”), operated by MeetCanada, an independent, Vancouver-based travel resource and curated experience marketplace (“MeetCanada,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing, browsing, or submitting a form on the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Definitions

  • “Site” means meetcanada.live and all of its pages and content.
  • “Operator” means an independent third-party tour operator or travel service provider listed or referenced on the Site.
  • “User,” “you” means any visitor who accesses or uses the Site.
  • “Content” means all text, images, guides, ratings, listings, and other materials made available on the Site.

3. Nature of Our Service

MeetCanada is an informational travel resource and curated experience marketplace. We hand-pick and present guided experiences across all ten provinces and three territories — including guided canoe trips, Pacific Rim coastal hikes, aurora photography tours near Yellowknife, Okanagan wine-country cycling, Old Quebec heritage walks, and multi-day rail journeys — together with operator profiles, ratings, seasonal timing, and pricing tiers. Our AI trip planner suggests personalized itineraries from the preferences you provide.

The Site allows you to view information, send enquiries, request trip recommendations, and follow links to verified Operators. MeetCanada is not a travel agency, tour operator, or seller of travel. We do not process bookings or payments on the Site. All reservations, payments, and travel contracts are made directly between you and the relevant Operator, subject to that Operator’s own terms and policies. The Site does not provide a personal account area or online payment functionality.

4. Informational Purpose and No Warranty of Availability

All Content on the Site is provided for general informational and inspirational purposes only and does not constitute a binding offer, reservation, or guarantee of availability, pricing, or schedule. Experience details, ratings, prices, group sizes, and seasonal calendars may change without notice. You must verify all pricing, dates, availability, inclusions, and policies directly with the Operator before making any reservation or payment. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, products, or services of any Operator.

5. Affiliate Relationship

MeetCanada operates as an affiliate publisher. We may receive referral compensation from listed Operators and travel service providers when you follow a booking link and complete a transaction. This compensation may influence the order in which listings appear, but it does not influence our editorial reviews, ratings, or safety guidance, which remain independent. Further detail is provided in the affiliate disclosure in the Site footer.

6. User Responsibilities

When using the Site, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information in any form you submit;
  • Use the Site only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable Canadian laws;
  • Refrain from spamming, scraping, data harvesting, introducing malware, attempting to gain unauthorized access, or otherwise interfering with the Site’s operation or security;
  • Not submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or that impersonates another person;
  • Be of the age of majority in your province or territory, or use the Site with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian.

7. Intellectual Property

All Content on the Site, including text, destination guides, photographs, ratings, layout, design, and the MeetCanada name and logo, is owned by or licensed to MeetCanada and is protected by the Copyright Act (R.S.C., 1985, c. C-42) and applicable trademark law. You may view and share links to the Site for personal, non-commercial use. 10. Limitation of Liability

The Site and its Content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including as to accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MeetCanada and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on Content, your dealings with any Operator, or any interruption or error in the Site. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. Force Majeure

MeetCanada is not liable for any failure or delay in operating the Site caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, fire, flood, epidemics, war, civil unrest, labour disruptions, power or internet outages, or failures of hosting and third-party service providers.
